The mountain
Sapporo Teine is on the northwest face of Mount Teine, a 1972 Olympic venue. Olympia is the lower, broader zone. Highland is higher, where the old Olympic courses are.
The resort puts central Sapporo at about forty minutes by car. From Kita-ku you drive west on the Sasson Expressway. Parking at the mountain is free, on the order of 2,800 cars. Without a car: JR to Teine Station, then the bus up. That way is slower.
The house as a base
Casa Antonio is not a ski-in lodge. It is a residential apartment with a kitchen, heat, and free parking in front of the doors. Bring the skis in the car, or leave them for the bus day. There is no separate drying room described on this site.
In the evening the Namboku line is still there if the mountain was enough and the city is next. Not both on the same tight schedule.
